Customer Reviews
We love Pioneer campground we’ve been coming here for many many years. The owners who have had it for the last few years are absolutely wonderful. Everything is always clean, always maintain.
Beautiful, clean, and friendly. We have stayed here several times over the years. It continues to improve! So nice to camp in the woods and it is still easy to maneuver large rigs throughout. Sites are huge and individually maintained, even the fire pits are clean and tidy. We arrived Wednesday before a holiday weekend. We watched as everything was cleaned up and made ready for all of the incoming guests. And the young people doing the work were so friendly! Laundry facilities are beautiful!
Beautiful place to stay. John and Stacy are amazing host. We stayed in a cabin and it was beautiful and furnished with any and everything you might possibly need. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The landscaping and scenery was to die for. It's family and pet friendly. I can't think of anything that could have made our experience any better.
Lovely campground about 3 hours out from Philly. This campground is also about 15 minutes from World End State Park. Beautiful scenic views and hiking trails all around. Great area for stargazers as well. Sites are very generously spaced out and the grounds are dog friendly. It seemed liked everyone had a dog and despite that, it was very quiet and all were very well behaved. We stayed in cabin 2, and the cabin itself is was nice. It came with a mini fridge, table queen bed and two sets of bunks in separate room. AC/heat available. WiFi is a bit spotty but I would only use it mostly to check the weather and do bare minimum with it anyways. There is a nice large stone built fire pit, and a separate charcoal grill. We didn’t get to explore the pool much as it was rainy on our weekend. Instea
This is a very nice family owned campground. When making reservations they were very helpful in finding a site that would accommodate the size of our camper and our slidouts. Due to COVID they wanted you to go straight to your site and call them when you arrived. After which, they came and greeted us for parking pass, check-in, wifi access passwords, etc. A gentleman arrived via a 4-wheeler and checked us in. He warned us that there have been bears in the area, including one at the site next to us, but that they had scared them off the day before and they should be scared enough not to return. They also mentioned that they had a trap set up for the bears. We stayed in site #20, which is one of their larger sites. It was very clean and level. The only complaint that we have is that
