Be sure to visit Woude's Bay bar for cheap beer. The bar is low frills but they offer you a koozie and the views at sunset are stunning. Family owners and they couldn't be friendlier. A refreshing change from most of the Okoboji. Haven't stayed at the resort so no intel there but boat or drive in and rest your bones in a relaxing environment.
