We stayed here the weekend after Labor Day. The family had a blast. The camp was clean and everything worked as it should. Check in was easy and the lady in the office/store was very friendly and helpful. I believe her name was Jamie. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful time my family had.
5/5 ! The maintenance man Ted helped us get our boat started, we stayed for 3 days and the cabins are beautiful and unique! All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and its in a great secluded location.
The office was very friendly and helpful to us. Our site was nice. We were tent camping it started to rain in evening without no notice for a few days while we were there. No one warned us that that was happening. It was hot, in the 90s and they would not open the pool. We were there for 7 days. The pool was not opened at all. While making the reservations we were not notified that the pool was going to be closed. We did not find out until we showed up at Pine Cove. It should not be called a resort with no pool and no playground. If you want to just camp its nice, don't expect anything else. I would ask if the pool is going to be open during time you will be there. If your expecting pool to be opened.
This review has less to do with the cabins, and the location and more to do with the customer service of their upper management team. My fiancé, myself, and family stayed there this summer as we have before. In fact, her family has gone up there regularly for years. In the past, its always been a great experience and things were handled well. This year, was quite different. Our stay there was full of issues. Everything from lack of amenities in the cabin, to parking issues, bad attitude from maintenance guy, and even being overcharged on my credit card. However, I do understand they are under new ownership and its shows. Again, rather than go into detail about our compromised stay, I'd rather comment on their lack of giving a care about their customers. First, it took over 3 weeks to get
Spent Father's Day Weekend here and had a total blast. Campsites were well maintained and the Cabins were well stocked and cleaned. The only real complaint is that the mattresses suck and I think my friends who slept on air mattresses outside had better night's sleep. The pool was clean, cool and fairly empty, but I know that's not always the case. The staff were very friendly and the experience was great for all of us. The dock is nice for boating and chilling out on the water. Great weekend and can't wait to come back again. Pro tip, the red dirt will stain anything and everything that it touches so wear dark or red colors. Also, Verizon cell service is Abysmal and basically useless while T-Mo and AT&T are non-existent and make sure your phone supports satellite messaging.
