Pine Point County Park

What a great campground with huge shade trees and a well thought out plan to have most sites private. Many water sites offered a private dock right on the Holcombe Flowage, a beautiful 2800 acre body of water. Clean bathrooms and shower house (bring coins for a hot shower). Beautiful grounds, very well kept. Other extras were recycling and garbage right at the site, a nice little playground, boat launch, and the cute little towns of Cornell, Holcombe, and Ladysmith nearby.

This park has a small public recreation area among all the campgrounds, lodges and resorts on Lake Holcombe. It has its own campground but also public access boat ramp, playground and picnic area and beach. Since we were in this area just for the day, it was nice to find a public access spot since much of this lake front is covered in cabins and other private areas as mentioned Didn’t spend much time here but still a nice place to spend a few brief moments just watching the water

The park has always been a nice county park. Good location with picnic sites. The campground has a good number of sites and the layout lends good spacing (though it never seems enough almost anywhere you go). They're completely improving (have rebuilt) the restrooms and I believe they have incorporated showers! The building wasn't done when we visited the park recently. They have a boat ramp and firewood available.

Very well maintained campground with a majority of sites having water access and/or private docks to tie your boat off or swim off of. Several sites have an island feel and is beautiful to kayak around the peninsula. Camp host is very friendly and knowledgeable. Has updated showers and bathrooms that are kept extremely clean especially for a campground! Showers are paid showers tho so bring your quarters! Only downfall to campground is how hard it can be to get a site sometimes. They generally have spots available but most of the prime sites get reserved right away. Overall, it is my family and my favorite place to camp in the entire state.

Nice new showers. Bring quarters. $1.50 for 6 minutes. Great pressure, good temp. Very reasonably clean after a hot day of heavy use. Shore line very shallow, short docs but met their purpose nicely. All sites are very nice and level
