Pine Lake RV Resort

Stop by there to check the place out & get some info. As i pulled over at the stop sign for guest to check in, a women came out drove over on her gulf cart to me asking if she could help me. Told her i was stoping by to check it all out & see if they had monthly rental spots, i was asked right there what year my camper was, had to show a picture of it. As i did she oh that's a nice camper. Asked if they allow pets, told her dogs, reply well do they have a leash? Well yes ma'am. Do you have vet paper's, yes ma'am i have there rabies tags & papers. I said well could you tell me how much for the month. Went in office to speak with a different women & some gentleman was in there. These two women in the office really belittled my son & I, acting like we wasnt good enough to stay there at there

Upon arrival during daylight the office was closed. Called the number on the door and was greeted by a nice lady who was not onsite but did instruct us on how to get to our assigned site. As we pulled into our nice very slanted site two other campers came out to assist us. It was then we were informed (by the campers) that most of the park had no water and hadn’t for several days due to burst pipes from freezing. WHY WEREN’T WE TOLD BEFORE ARRIVING? Called the nice lady back and asked if we could move to a more level site that had access to water from another site next to it. She confirmed we could move there. While setting up someone from the park came by with our paperwork with the new site number for us to sign confirming we read over the rules (10 MPH). Once completed set up and about

We are getting ready to leave, but had to leave a review. It was a great getaway with large spaces. The owner is nice and easy to work with. Also staff members Gina and Tony are awesome! Super helpful and quick to respond. Very clean, and plenty of places to walk my dogs. If I had one critique I would say that the political flags and paraphernalia are unwelcoming no matter what affiliation you are. It was off putting to have their personal opinion all over. However I would stay here again.

No way!!|My husband and I stopped by the ‘resort’ with the thought that we’d come back and stay sometime. A 15 minute visit was enough to convince us that we didn’t want to ever stay there. It’s not fancy and it’s not expensive, which should make it great for a quiet getaway. Lots of quiet surrounded by trees. But…the owner was very friendly, helpful with her politics placed within the conversation. There’s political commentary everywhere. We don’t getaway to hear that. It’s on the tv everyday. We’ll can love Jesus and the military somewhere without hateful comments and signs.

My husband and I recently bought an RV and decided to take it out, close to home, for the first trip. Despite the negative reviews, we choose Pine Lake RV Resort. To our delight, we did not experience any of the problems reported by other reviews. The sand road into camp was easy to navigate and we had no problems driving in with the RV. Gina, the camp manager, was pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. We loved being able to explore the 100-acre camp and the pool was clean and refreshing. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind then this is the spot for you. There is a rooster that roams the property but Gina warned us about it and we just steered clear of him. All hook-ups worked and our time at Pine Lake was a very enjoyable first trip.
