Pine Hill Cottages & Motel

We had a great stay at Pine Hill. We stayed in a patio efficiency, and it was lovely and clean, with a full kitchen. Great play area for kids, and nice view of the lake. Hope to be back next year!

Our Bed and Breakfast canceled on us due to a water issue. We were stranded without lodging. We called the cottage and they had a guest leave just an hour before. We had no pillows, blankets only our personal items. Dawn (owner) said, “give me 45 minutes “. They cleaned the cabin and gave us all the supplies. They were very understanding of our situation. The cabin was comfortable, spacious and the view of the lake beautiful. We cannot thank the owner enough for “taking us in “ on such short notice. Definitely will recommend.

Second stay at Pine Hill. First off, Dawn (office manager) is fantastic! We stayed in C1 for 2 nights with a family of flying squirrels. I kid you not! First night we were watching TV and one of the squirrels were watching us. Had to broom him out of the the cabin. The entire cabin stunk like animal and there was feces throughout. Second night: kept hearing scratching throughout the cabin walls and 5 squirrels came out in the living room with one flying through the cobwebbed ceiling beams. Called owner (Dennis) and he said he couldn't move us until morning. I explained that either he has to move us to another cabin or pay for a motel elsewhere. He finally moved us around 11pm to another cabin (C4). The next day the owner put traps in C1 because he thought the flying squirrels were "too cut

Couldn't ask for a more quiet simple and majestic place, tucked on the hillside of Chautauqua Lake. My son and I working in the area from out of town absolutely love ability to walk just down to the pier and toss in a line after a long day at work. Would like to give Dawn the front desk help, a great big THANK YOU. For her help and plethora of knowledge and information about the area. Will definitely be back in the future to stay here. For a simple vacation, for work, or just to get away for the weekend. An awesome and amazing place!

Wet clean cottage. We had a beautiful view of the lake. We brought bikes, but didn’t use them. We used the boat slip. It was ok, but there weren’t claws for tying up. We made do by using the dock slats. It was $10 per day for the slip rental. The launch is 1 mile away. We parked our truck there for a few days it was fine. The owner, Julie was very nice. You will need to bring your own linens, towels, dishcloth , dish towel. I would recommend. Also there was a row of houses between the cottages and the water. Not a deal breaker. Good trip.
