I've never actually stayed here but I often walk the trail in the back and sit by the water. Its always beautiful
Nice park with gated security code entry and there are pavilions to rent. Pavilion rental for picnic is onsite only and could not be done online. Also there would be additional $50 fee for alcohol consumption license. There’s ample parking spaces for all the cars which are allowed in the rental reservation. The lake is clean and there’s many trees. There are many camping sites. We’d love to return at this park again for our picnic.
Beautiful, quiet park. Great views or lake in the middle of the suburbs
Entrance fee for a park and no place to sit (maybe after walking in for miles...). I guess my understanding of a public park is different from the TX definition. No bicycles allowed on campground... This is car-centric at its peak.
Great place for a quick camping trip. Clean bathrooms, beautiful scenery everything we wanted.
