Piedra River Resort

This place is so wonderful! The owner is very nice and respectful. She accomodated our late night arrival *and* an early morning sunrise horse ride. The room was very clean and had a kitchen to cook in. Its a great place to stay. Nice to see friendly faces.

Cabin #4, where our family of 5 stayed was clean and awesome! Really loved Nikki’s hospitality and prompt responses. Seeing the horses was the highlight for my toddler! Great location, affordable and wonderful for stargazing and wildlife

Once in a lifetime experience! Kevin was our guide and he was amazing, he went out of his way to make sure we had a good time! He stopped took pictures of us, and even caught us a lizard! He was super knowledgeable about the horses so even if your not experienced just know your in great hands! It was our first time riding and we are grateful we did it! We will be back, Thank you Piedra River Resort! I highly recommend them over any other riding service. They're scenery and commitment to give you a great time is incomparable!

Ive come to Colorado since often since I was little and my family always stayed here. The cabins kept well clean and are in a beautiful spot, and you have very friendly dogs on the property. Also there are horse-back riding times, which I find very fun and the sights you see are very pretty.

My wife an I can not wait ro return to the Piedra River resort. Stacy is a special person who is so helpful, and Emily is another wonderful caring person. Yes I know that this is an evaluation of the resort, but it must be said when you have owners/staff with the character of these women and other staff. You can not help but have a wonderful time there. We were fortunate enough to have been stranded nearby and the fine folks went above and beyond to help out in every way. We owe our gratitude for that. They earned our respect and we are sure that we will come back soon and give the Piedra Piedra River Resort and Back County Outfitters our business, I am confident we will not be disappointed.
