I really enjoy Pico for several reasons. It’s moderately priced compared to other resorts in the region, it offers a variety of terrain for all levels of experience, and it is typically less crowded than its peers. It’s a compact mountain, which adds to its charm, but it also boasts a respectable amount of continuous vertical drop. Amenities are limited as there are only a couple of dining options and 1 bar, but the quality of the mountain itself lends it a certain authenticity other bigger mountains lack.

My family and I skied and boarded Pico (Pi-co) over President's Weekend and it was a joy! I wish I discovered it earlier. The mountain reminded me of large Elk Mountain (North East PA ski hill). The runs off the top of the main chair give you 2,000 vertical of fall line turns. It's a leg burner. I got about 10K vertical in roughly 2hrs. The snow was perfect. As they say in the ski world, it was "hero snow". The mountain offers a lot of variety for all skier types and has a low-key vibe. As we headed out for the day, the staff were handing out chocolate chip cookies. So nice of them!

Enjoyed skiing here. Went on a day right after a snow storm, and the conditions were great. The layout of this mountain is cool and the glades are fun to ski in. But killingtons trails are definitely marked a lot better. It seemed it there was less signage, but it didn't dull the experience at all. The food on the third floor of the main building was pretty good for a ski resort as well. This place is way less busy than killington even on the weekend, so it's a must stop if you are in the area.

I had a great time at Pico Mountain and an excellent experience taking a lesson with Kurt! He was very kind, patient, and informative. As a beginner skier, he gave me helpful tips on improving my parallel turns and using my poles more effectively. He truly went above and beyond during the lesson, taking the time to answer my many questions with clear and knowledgeable explanations. By the end, I felt much more confident skiing down steeper trails. Overall, I loved Pico Mountain - it’s a fantastic place to practice and develop new techniques. A big thank you to Kurt for making my skiing experience so enjoyable and rewarding!

I was very hesitant to come here as a beginner because when I looked online, I saw there was no magic carpet. This made me nervous since as a beginner, that’s all I felt comfortable on. The Bonanza 1 & 2 and GLM trails are very similar to a magic carpet at other resorts and are great for beginners! I did those trails several times and felt more comfortable. What really made my experience the best was taking a lesson with Kurt. He’s a wonderful teacher! Super knowledgeable, kind, and very understanding! I went from not being able to complete simple green trails to doing blue trails in just a couple hours! I could not believe how much I accomplished in that lesson! My boyfriend was blown away by how much I improved in just 2 hours! I’m so happy and much more of a confident skier thanks to hi
