Cabin review: For the great price I loved the cabin. Just 2 of us. I slept in the 4. 5 foot ceiling loft! ( 2 twin mattress up there). Nice porch, had a full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. All the needed basic dinnerware. You need linen, hand soap, towels and rags. They supply one extra TP, one paper towel and dish soap. Bathroom with small shower is between the main bedroom and kitchen . Could be a bit noisy if you get up at night to use. Nice view of the lake. Picnic table and fire pit was included. Pretty hiking trails all around the park. New boat dock right nearby .***My concern was I was left in the dark on getting the door code. Camp office was closed. The crap booking company site was no help. I Googled the park dept left a message and received a te

Really like this park. Great camping spot, on the water and close to family when we travel.

We stayed in Oct, 2020, at site #46 which was awesome views. Also loved sites #43 and #49 (Best sites in my opinion). Beautiful Place! Clean. Awesome views. The water is crystal clear. Lots of boats. October had great cool weather and beautiful that the leaves are changing to falls colors. I have seen pictures of this place being very crowded in summer. So, I prefer fall :) Seems great for kids and pets. Not a lot of space or privacy between campsites, but the views are worth the less private sites. Water and electric at each site. Showers in bathrooms too. We will be back!

We enjoyed boating on the lake. There are many campsites. I used the restroom at the end of the day and it was quite messy but I guess it is to be expected. Some people throw used TP on the floor instead of flushing which is gross. I did not take points off for that as manners are not the park’s responsibility. The parking is $5.
