We stayed at Phoenix Mountain Campground last summer and it was excellent. The scenery along the New River with beautiful mountains was totally peaceful and Derek and Pam were super hosts. They made everybody feel like family. The campground was clean and quiet, and the rates were very reasonable. I would rate it at the top of places we have camped across the country. We plan to go back for a couple weeks this summer. It is a really good base to explore many attractions nearby.
Enjoyed our stay at Phoenix Mountain CG. Sites are nicely spaced. Very quiet and beautiful along the New River.
