Great location, great campground. Miserable staff. At least the 2 of them - the woman at the front desk and the man in his golf cart. You can tell which ones I’m talking about by if they’re miserable or not. She answers questions to the least of her ability. Will definitely stay again, just knowing to not have any questions. Shes normally cool with 1 question, but definitely don’t over ask. It’s the only campground in the area though so you can’t upset her bec you don’t want to be black balled.
This is a very nice and quiet KOA. Even though they were fully booked it was very quiet. Pretty close to Philly and far enough away from the city to enjoy it. Very clean restrooms. Showers were hot and just the right amount of pressure. Friendly staff and our dog really enjoyed the dog park. Will stay here again when in the area!
Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA Holiday is my favorite place to glamp, and it's incredibly dog-friendly. We've been coming here for years and absolutely love it. It's a small campground with multiple tent sites (no electric) and cozy cabins. Tent site have a picnic table, fire pit and a fairly large area for your tent and car. Most cabins are fully furnished with queen beds, a full bathroom, a kitchen, a dining area, and a pull-out sofa. (No bugs inside the cabins.) Everything is always clean, and the staff is very helpful. The Wi-Fi has gotten much better over the years. They also have a swimming pool, a game room, and various camping games. It's very family-friendly, and all dogs must be leashed outside of the dog park. While we usually stay in a cabin so we can watch TV on Sundays (
We booked a specific site and had our reservation to confirm same. Upon check-in they had put us in a completely different site the farthest back in the entire campground. I asked for a manager, none was available. I booked a specific site due to my husband's mobility issues and having the grandkids with us. They did not care they would not put me in the site I booked. In fact, they said it was too much paperwork to move things around. To make matters worse, the original site we booked sat empty the entire weekend. The customer service here is awful, management is awful. The employees (at the desk) also never seem to have any idea if they are doing any activities or if they have any themed weekends planned. This place is literally only good for a stop-over when traveling, if that.
Clean, well-maintained park with lots of amenities. Pull-through sites are a little too close together for me however not horrible. FHU, mostly level gravel sites with tables and fire pits. Park WiFi was adequate for streaming YouTube TV. Friendly, professional accommodating staff. Heavily treed and was beautiful in late October. Convenient to grocery stores.
