Phantom Canyon RV Ranch & Campground

The individual I encountered differs significantly from the Ray described in the other reviews. While the Ray mentioned there is presented as a level-headed and professional individual, the person I interacted with was crass and uncultured. I am currently working for a couple who lives at the RV park that Mr. Ray manages. They requested I come over to discuss the work I am doing for them and go over a few things.The gate code was provided to allow me to enter the park upon arrival. I arrived early afternoon and was searching for the gate code. While looking, a car pulled up behind me. To avoid obstructing them, I pulled to the side and allowed them to enter. This campground is recently under new ownership and the new owners seem to have the right mindsight and drive to bring this place up to a level where it will reach it's full potential. While I was there, those new owners were bringing in gravel to fill and level the RV slots. They have also added a few tent spots that sit on the backside of the plateau with the most wonderful view of the valley going into Cañon City and Florence. The pro of the camper slots themselves is that each slot is HUGE; those slots were the largest of any campground that I have been to - almost like having your own yard - at least in comparison to most campgrounds. To whom it may concern, my wife and I just sold our house couple months ago and decided to move into fifth wheel. Drove buy and saw the beautiful view and we called. Ray and Moe were great to us. Very friendly and helpful in any way they could. We don’t have full ton truck right now, and were in space that was for smaller rv. Ray and Moe went above and beyond to move us into space more suited for our needs. Used his own truck to help us. Wife is disabled and they did everything to help. Thanks fellas for everything and if your looking to camp, this is the place!

We are dual sport riders, and love the spot and location! Don’t look at old reviews. They are under new ownership and Management. Got to enjoy the beautifully decorated and clean bathrooms. All the spaces are beautifully lined with brand new trees. Ray one of the owners was very kind and accommodating, beautiful views surround the space and if you walk to the backside of the property, there’s a nice bluff. Just a short few minute ride to Phantom Canyon. Biker’s paradise with close proximity to Shelf and Phantom canyon green BDR trails. Will be returning again this season!

Thank you Ray!!! We were originally going to camp in a park not too far from here but the road was all muddy and we were late and couldn't see in the dark. I found this RV Ranch online and it let me book it easy peasy. When we arrived (very late 10pm) there was a locked gate, I called Ray and his booking system wasn't supposed to allow us to book so late and last minute but he came out and let us in anyway!! Thank god! We were in a tough situation and needed someplace safe to stay for the night and this was 10000% the place. And the bathroom/showers are gorgeous! Thank you again!!
