Pete's Puddle RV Resort

I went camping on a Sunday-Tuesday with one of my good friends and her daughter and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience! The owner was super nice, showed us where the tent sites were with electricity (they are kind of on the small side but work) and allowed us to try out for the first time ever a water tricycle which was awesome! He also came by the first morning to check on us and make sure it was a smooth night. They have community life jackets and floats to use, very nice shaded areas on the beach, tennis court, volleyball court, small playground and beach chairs! The water was beautiful and is treated so no worries of dealing with blue green algae or weird parasites! I'm going to be honest... Places like this are not my scene. I don't like to be outside in heat and I don't like camping. But my band was playing a festival that was held here. Pete's Puddle is a really cool really big place for camping, rolling around on 4 wheelers and polarises, swimming, and hanging with like minded people who love such activities. It's beautiful, tons of massive cottonwood trees that were snowing cotton balls the whole time, people's sweet dogs everywhere, nice people... I would definitely go back to play next year's festival. Personally I would only glamp if I had to (like I said, not a fan of the heat/humidity) but if this sort of thing is your jam, it's an amazing place!

I needed a quick getaway. The dogs loved the swimming pond. The only downfall was several dogs running off leash. If you have dogs you're trying to work through reactivity just keep an eye out. All the dogs were friendly and respectful of boundaries in place by humans.

Family friendly resort with all the amenities that you need for a fun and memorable weekend. Great staff that will help you get settled and fun neighbors that will make you feel right at home. We will definitely be back to enjoy more fishing (too many ponds to count) and especially swimming in 'The Puddle' with water volleyball, swim deck and comfortable, shaded beaches. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but right where you need to be.

Its a nice place kinda out in no where fishing and atv trails surround you tho. Nice wildlife pet and kid friendly. 200 rv spots. Flat rate to stay no matter the length a week or a month its $400 includes water electric and sewer. Only cell service that works here is Verizon. No wifi or laundry and how far you have to drive to find things. McPherson is about 25-30 mins away but if you want bigger city attraction go to Wichita about a hour drive. People here are extremely friendly Mrs Diane is amazing and Terry is very helpful. Other than that nice place to stay if your working at the local plants/refinery.
