Beautiful lodge, beautiful rooms, and beautiful views. Absolutely an amazing place to stay. The restaurant on site was very understaffed and took a while to get seated but was good and decently priced. Would stay here again.
I stayed at the lodge three nights for a family reunion. The rooms on the upper floor facing east seem to have the best views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had breakfast the last day at Carl’s; it was comparable prices to what you’d get in town and I enjoyed it. Would be interested to come back in the fall and try the rope course and ice skating.
The park is fine. Love it. However, "Carl's" is the latest attempt at a functioning restaurant at the lodge. Staff were super-nice but the buffet was really not good. Paper plates and strange choices for dishes.
The rooms are comfortable, and booking is available for cabins throughout the park. Had a great experience here. The staff treats you like they care, which they don't just seem to - they do.
Love this place. Stayed for our wedding a few years back
