Pestana CR7 Times Square

This was our second time staying here. It was another brilliant stay at the Pestana and we will be back, without a doubt. We did a week here this time, my wife and I. The rooms are reallly clean and modern and the bed is super comfy. The staff are really friendly and love catching up with you each day. They’re super helpful too, if you need to know something about the city or have an issue in the hotel. They’re always willing to help!

Positive: Quiet rooms, we couldn't hear our neighbors, just honking outside. Clean and comfortable room. If staff didn't know the answer then they found out what the answer was. Negative: No storage space in the room. We had 2 double beds and handicapped accessible with nowhere to set our toiletries other than edge of sink. Only place to put suitcase was the floor in front of the bed and closet.

We stayed at the Pestana CR7 last month during a snowy weekend in New York and had a wonderful experience. As a native New Yorker visiting back, I know space is limited in the city, so smaller rooms are expected; what matters is how they’re designed. Our room was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with a great bed, good storage, a well-sized bathroom, and everything very clean and well maintained. The lobby and meeting areas also provided nice spaces to relax outside the room. What truly sets this hotel apart from nearby chain hotels, though, is the staff. They consistently greeted us, made sure we had what we needed, and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat. A special shout-out to Florian, who was exceptionally personable and kind. His approach to hospitality stood out:

Great stay overall. The location is perfect! Super close to Times Square and subways, but not crazy noisy. The rooms are really clean, modern, and well designed. Bed was very comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The vibe is sleek and cool without feeling over the top.

Minus a hiccup on the first night, the team banded together to ensure that after a room upgrade, everything else was satisfactory. The location is great and about just less than 10 mins walk to Times Square. Staff are attentive, genuinely and friendly when you get to know them. I had the pleasure of chatting with many such as Emiliana from the front desk and Carla from housekeeping. The rooms are spacious, well thought out and comfortable. Cleanliness is to a good standard and I would definitely return to stay here.
