Persimmon Point Resort

Cabins are clean with clean linens. A group of us meet there in October every year and the owners are great. They treat us not only as guests, but also like friends. The cabins may feel dated and not a 5-star resort, but neither are the rates or attitudes. Give them a try.

We recently stayed there for the first time, but it will not be our last. Cabins are a bit run down on the outside, but when you walk through the door it is warm and welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable bed that i have ever sept in. Amber and Jake were so genuine helpful and friendly. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and plenty of storage space for everything needed so it did not crowd the counters to much. My daughter enjoyed the game room with a pool table and foosball table. The common area had seating and plenty of room for a fire to be able to sit around and enjoy everyone's company. I am looking forward to many more years of coming back and staying there.

Our cabin claimed to have 2 rooms but there were no doors only curtains separating the rooms. Lake access is down a long steep dirt hill takes 10+ minutes to walk there quite rough, it was hard for my little kids to walk therefore we had to go even slower. It does have a good pool near the cabins.

Great little getaway. Owners are awesome. It is quiet, comfortable, and affordable. Rooms are clean and maintained with a fridge, drive oven and utensils. Pool, general store, and lake access. Very friendly. A great time. We go a few times a year.

Loved the pool. Amber and Jake are like family from the get go and bent over backwards to make us welcome. #4 cabin is small but clean. Walk to the lake and back to the cabin is great cardio. Very friendly guests. See ya again.
