Peppermint Shores Campground

This is a lovely, clean, quiet little campground perfect for a little relaxation! With an outhouse and electric hookup, it is the perfect place to park your camper or tent. We experienced beautiful sunsets and crystal clear water to fresh fish and all grass campsites. This is a must visit if you are heading to Highway 2!

This spot is everything I want in a campground. Beautiful scenery, a peaceful setting and quiet. Located right on the shore of Lake Michigan we found this place by accident and I’m so glad we did. Easy to make reservations through texting and payments were easy too. Originally we were only going to be here for 3 nights and then on to Straits State Park. After going to Straits, we canceled our reservation at Straits and headed right back to Peppermint Shores. This place is best for self contained Rv’s as there is electricity but no water, no showers or dump station. There are beautiful fire pits, Adirondack chairs with a side table and a picnic table. Bring all trash out with you. If you stay, be sure to go up to the Epoufette Bay Scenic View. We took our trash up there. I wouldn’t recommen

What a gorgeous place,the view of Lake Michigan and bay is wonderful. It's right on the water. Very reasonable in price. Electric 50amp and 30 amp. Also, only 25 minutes east of Mackinac Bridge. Very peaceful and quiet campground, very safe for children. I love it.

Awesome place for fishing hardly any pressure. Bow fishing is also good! Beautiful view! Great place for the family! Thanks for the great time, Peppermint Shores!!!

This campground is the greatest,,,its perfectly located in a secluded area on lake michigan and not that far to many of the great tourist attractions that the upper penninsula offers ,the campground is right on the water and i had a great time fishing,paddleboarding,and swimming,,i love how peaceful it is here,
