Pearl River Resort

WE stayed 17-20th....the hotel the golden moon had issues and was transferred over to silverstar...ill take either hotel ...in the past we only had one issue on getting rooms on time etc.....but this trip was very good except for noisey neighbors whom just had to scream and fight to get attention, other than that the stay was great, hotel wise....the slots needs an upgrade to the old familiar ones not all tigers and dragons galore....but i will write one complaint about a restaurant there ...the BISTRO...i dont know if theyre in a strain for eggs, or ran out of food , or even short staffed...we ordered egg breakfasts and two quesadillas...ok how long does it take to prepare eggs? we waited 45 full minutes for food- nothing....waitress comes out says 5 more minutes...we wait 5, she neve

The machines were not paying out like normal. Normally you win a little on a casino and lose a little. This trip it was about all losses. It was the same story from other people I talked with. Maybe it will be better once they are done with the renovation that they are about to do.

Driving to and from Dallas to Aiken, SC, the casino is a great stopping point about halfway. Slots are good. Every time I played my money lasted quite awhile. I don't go to the casino for a big win but I like to play on my money, some casinos just like to suck you dry quickly. People are friendly. Could probably use a couple more waitresses. A very nice place.

Too many nos. Prices are wayyyyy too high for being this outdated. The rooms don't come. With microwaves or fridges, you have to ask ... Who wants to do that??? Just included it! Besides that fridge was basically a cooler, barley did anything and smelled really bad!! (I'm serious, my soda can tasted like this bad smell!) Also when I turned on the heater, my room smelled so dusty I could barley breath! They just keep getting greedy raising prices every time I blink! Restaurants aren't that good!! They're mid! How does anyone explain me paying $3 for a singular regular chapstick!?!?! Whatever cleaner they're using, specifically in the bathroom toilets, GET RID OF IT! it's not strong enough, I can smell everyone's business. Stuff is always broken?? Just fix it or replace it. Where's all this

After all the years, me and my wife still enjoyed our stay. Good food, good times,we will be going back!! 😊
