Pea Ridge Bike Camp

Damon and Robin are fantastic hosts. Very personable and extremely helpful. The camp is wonderful- large spaces, on site showers, restrooms, water Group campfire (or private one at your site) with free wood. Covered area for cooking in the rain and a large bus to hang out in with tables seats and local attraction brochures. Bike repair area. Just a few mi ties drive to town and to Bentonville classic bike rides. We can’t say enough good about this place. We paid for a week and ended up staying more.

This camp is an ideal place to base out of for a trip to Bentonville. The camp is large (10 acres) with many large camp sites - both shady and in the sun (for solar panels). The hosts Damon and Robin are a hoot. Really fun to talk to and very helpful. There is a group campfire at night to meet people or you can build your own at your site (free firewood). Dogs are allowed to run free and play. Water is available to fill up. Hot showers and toilets are available as is a bike repair area. Rainy weather shelters are also available. It’s five minutes to the grocery store ( or a drone will deliver free) and ten minutes to world class mountain biking. .

This is a great camp spot. Damon is an awesome host; showed us maps of places to go and things we need to see. Was definitely an awesome campground with great showers and a nice sink for dishes. Would definitely recommend.

All the other positive reviews are accurate. This is a really nice primitive campground - perfect for mountain bikers. The sites are spacious, clean, grassy, and well maintained - half of them out in the open and half of them with shade. No cars will be driving by you out here like in the other campgrounds. Port o potties are very clean and the outdoor shower is nice (hot water). Your stay even comes with free firewood! The owner Damon is very accommodating and a really nice guy with lots of helpful information. There are some classic unique touches with this campground: a school bus used as a common area loaded with trail information, a communal fire pit, a communal canopy area, an old toll booth where you can charge your devices, and even a proper bike cleaning station. We’ve been traveling in a 24’ travel trailer for the past few months and Pea Ridge Bike Camp was one of our very favorite stops. Damon is a wonderful host full of info and travel suggestions (and colorful stories!). The parked school bus on site is full of maps and brochures and is shelter from rain if needed. A heated outdoor shower, sinks for dishes, plenty of firewood, individual and communal fire pits, porta potties, a gas grill, and phone charging sites are added bonuses. The property is beautiful and near a gravel bike trail. Campsites are very roomy. Highly recommend!
