Patty's Motel

Excellent experience. Stayed in a double room with two friends, provided by a local non-profit. Manager Monica contacted me by phone prior to arrival for contactless check-in, as I had left a message we would be arriving later in the evening. Room was clean and quiet, with all the essentials. Reasonably close to dining and our business. Check in and out were seamless. Second bed lodged was an a nook with no margin space, but would surely stay again, when visiting town.

I think this is the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The owner was super friendly. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a room in Caliente. I would certainly stay there again.

Room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated.|But the room (#8) was tiny. About the smallest room I have ever seen.|Bed was comfy enough but the floors were vinyl and were hellish cold when getting out of bed. Temps were below freezing outside in the AM.| I could recommend a small throw rug at bedside.|There was a small desk inside but no chairs.|No chairs at all and one was relegated to sitting on the bad.|The room heater unit put out nice warmth but it was loud and within a couple of feet of the bed.|I felt the room price of $100 a night was high.||Back down the highway a mile or so is a restaurant/bar that served a good breakfast and a equally good burger. Name was the Knotty Pine restaurant. Nothing fancy here and the required video poker machines were stingy.

We were in a bind for somewhere to stay in Caliente due to a family emergency. The staff found out our situation and were super accommodating for us. We got in late and they made arrangements for us to get access to our room. They were very attentive to anything we needed and were extremely responsive when we contacted them. The rooms have all been redone and are very clean. It is quiet and the parking area is very well lit. Water pressure was awesome for showers. We also appreciated the fridge and coffee maker in the room. We were beyond grateful for the kind staff and will absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Easily the largest motel "room" I have ever stayed in unintentionally. I was stunned upon entry, it was more like a one bedroom apartment that was completely remodeled and spotless with a full-sized refrigerator and coffee maker and microwave and a fantastic seating area with a fancy couch. The owner was very communicative over the phone. I also felt extremely privileged because nobody else was there because she was out of town and could have easily cancelled my reservation but instead arranged my stay over the phone and honored the reservation I had made far in advance.
