Pattison Park Campground

The campground and park are unmaintained and should be avoided. The staff was great. 1) The bathroom showers are moldy and the walls are literally falling down. 2) The dump station concrete is listing several inches down so waste had to be sprayed uphill to go down the drain. 3) dump station drain pipe is broken 2 feet down so waste leaks into the watertable 4) the lake bathhouse is permanently close except for a single bathroom. No changing rooms or showers to rinse off sand after swimming. 5) The falls are beautiful but access from campground is strangely dangerous since the path to the main viewpoint unnecessarily crosses E County Road B twice (why no path along the road?) 6) bizzare restriction so we, a senior citizen couple, from using handicap bathroom. Hike-in camp sites are great and EXTREMELY private! We didn't see or hear a single person in 4 days while at the site. It was so peaceful and along the Black river. We will be visiting frequently. If you are going to camp here, the hike-in camp sites are the way to go for the best experience.

It has only 59 sites, which very spacious and private. It has like two loops of camp sites easy to follow. Only one bath, shower house, unfortunately half stalls are out of order, definitely need updates. Walking distance to the sandy beach.

Real nice campground, the stuff is always around working on stuff and very friendly. Most of the sites are pull through campsites. Bathrooms are in good shape. Some of the roads are getting pretty worn. Hope to come back again some day.

Great campground, private sites. Excellent hiking trails.
