Parsippany Inn and Suites Morris Plains

I needed an overnight room for a business trip and felt for the price I paid, I probably wasn't going to get the greatest accomodatons. Although upon on entering, I was still a little surprised at how deceiving the online photos were! haha!||||Anyway, my room was nicely kept and everything smelled freshly clean, including the bathroom. I would've preferred some extra sunlight, but hey what can you do. The staff was very pleasant and helpful as well so I have no complaints about that.||||Again, for the cost, I couldn't assume the best in everything; rather, the average was good enough. It's definitely suitable for a simple overnight trip (without the kids lol).

I've said before, you get what you pay for, so don't expect a luxury hotel at $85/ night. It's older, and a bit run down, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the TV and refrigerator worked, so all in all it met my needs. Front desk guy was nice when I checked in. No "maid service" due to covid, of course. I'm giving 4 stars based on where it measured up against my expectations, not against other hotel options in the area.

Service was mediocre at best, rooms were dirty. No towels for rooms that sleep 4. Not even a box of tissues in the bathrooms. Mold around the showers. Some staff were very rude. One of the legs on our bed was broken. My husband got down on the floor to fix it and found a pizza slice under the bed. When I went to complain at the front desk that there was food under the bed and the room wasn't clean he came back with a smart a$$ remark. We will never stay there again. I was born and raise in Denville,NJ and have never experienced such rudeness and crack house like conditions in the area until our recent trip last Wed and Thur. If you are planning on traveling to the area spend the extra $$ for clean rooms at any of the other larger area named hotels.

The room was fairly clean, but I had the misfortune to be there when the ice machine was broken and had to walk next door to the gas station convince store to buy some ice. Later, wanted to take a shower but couldn't find any soap, only shampoo. My experience wasn't bad, but I felt that I've been in better places for the same amount of money I paid for the room. Give it a shot people. Maybe your experience could be better than mine. Not saying this is a crappy hotel at all.

I would give it a 0 if I could. The room I stayed in had years' worth of accumulated filth and grime. There was mold and mildew everywhere, peeling wallpaper, hair, etc. The curtains were full of holes (moths?) The place was extremely rundown, dingy, and the rooms reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The toilet seat was covered in a black substance (mold?) It was shocking. Do NOT stay here!!!!
