This is a beautiful campground in a gorgeous setting on Parks Pond. It feels remote but Bangor with all its conveniences is just minutes away. It’s clear that Selena and Mike, the owners, take a great deal of pride in their business as the campground is clean and well-maintained. Selena and Mike are also friendly and genuine, and they make you feel welcome and at home. This was our first time staying in their lovely cabin. It was cute, comfortable, clean, and well appointed, with everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We loved the deck with views of the pond, the comfy bed, the decorative stone fireplace, and the full kitchen. My parents have been seasonal guests here for many years and they absolutely love it. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to return!
Perfect refresh spot after many days of driving. We were happy to find anything along the highway close to the border. The staff was so accommodating and kind. They have clean hot showers, dump stations, and laundry. The pond is beautiful. The camp is used for seasonal guests. We were there on a Sunday night in early June and even though there were tons of RVs the place was quiet and we barely saw anyone.
I was very pleased with my experience at Parks Pond Campground. It is well maintained and clean. It has everything a travel needs . . . plus more. The person responded to my email promptly and was very nice when I checked in. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the highway/traffic noise. We had our windows closed so it was fine. The negative of the highway noise is offset by the benefit of it being right on our route. I recommends staying here.
Wow, what a great experience! We needed a one night stay on our way to Canada. The staff here were super accommodating, welcoming and kind to us. The bathrooms were SPOTLESS (which for a late end of season stay was not expected). Hats off to the owners for running a great facility. Thank you!
Beautiful and serene campground with a small lake that is like looking across glass in the morning! Great owners that give you all the information you need. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Game room behind a wonderful store with items you may have forgotten. Great location for day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and eastern Maine! Highly recommend staying for the weekend or several weeks!
