Parkfield Lodge

10 stars for this magical place! We got the opportunity to stay here one night as a reprieve from a road trip up the I5. It is about 40 minutes off of the 5, so after a long day of travel we were wondering whether we had made the right decision and as soon as we arrived we knew we had! We arrived in time for a swim in the pool and dinner at the Parkfield Cafe (worth the drive just for the food!). Every single detail in the room was thoughtful and a nod to the history of Parkfield. The cafe staff was so friendly (shoutout Missy!!) and every item we had was delicious. The particular highlights were the fries, burgers, chili and milkshakes! We will be back!

Parkfield Lodge was simply incredible. What really sets the lodge apart is the craftsmanship and authentic finish, it’s like something from the movies. The rooms are huge, pristinely clean and very well equipped. The swimming pool and hot tub area is also brilliant, we spent the whole day there. The folks who run it are as nice as you will meet. It’s a must visit!

It feels like home - yet free from responsibilties. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, and the beds are most comfortable. Every season in Parkfield has something to offer. Get over to the "Cowboy side of California"!

First time here. Family owned ranch with good restaurant/bar. What got my attention is the creative and well designed use of ranch tools and reclaimed wood. Must see.

I live on the other side of the grade and I have seen this fantastic place being made what it is now. You can't beat the food, rooms,and all the activities they have. I can't say anything else but to go there in person and check it out for yourself
