Parkers Creek Campground

Nice Campsite But it was trashed, AND we were not allowed to go to the site until 3pm. We arrived at 1:30. It would be one thing if they cleaned the sites. But check was at 12, so that wasn’t happening. Glad I brought a broom for the picnic bench and table. I’ll leave the fish rake to the wild things. This used to be a favorite campground .

We had a great couple of days in this super quiet campground. We have a 35’ fifth wheel and it was very tight getting in. The lake view was beautiful, close to amenities yet far enough away to be quiet and reasonably dark at night. Nice beach and pavilion area and generally clean bathrooms. Nice playgrounds for the little ones and many folks walking on the paths and playing basketball. The water pressure was very good and the water was tasty. We arrived early and although the campground was virtually empty we were required to wait until the check in time of 4:00 to park. Please reconsider your 4:00 check in time, many folks with larger rigs prefer to be parked and settled by that time.

Loop 1...well maintained property..clean restrooms...2-3 mins walk from lake & restrooms....well shaded area...frequent ranger patrols make it safe..not so far from nearest convenience store in case if you forget anything..just 3 miles from your site....please note the bridge is near so you may hear vehicles all night...

Great place, lots of space and trees. Our site was level. Bathrooms are small, rustic but clean.

Loop 2 camp host Richard volunteered to change a mud area at the bathroom into a nice pine staw area. He's a great camp host. I hope the park invites him back for 2026!
