Parker House Inn

Cozy and clean rooms at a wonderful price! Our stay was peaceful and refreshing. Sandy provided a warm welcome to me and my family. I came to McRae to give a performance at the Telfair Center for the Arts and she even left a hospitality tray for myself and the band. We were so thrilled with the hospitality they offered and it was greatly appreciated after our long drive from Atlanta earlier that day! I can't say enough wonderful things. It's the perfect place for a quick getaway for peace, quiet and refreshment! Highly recommended!!

My family and I stayed at this Inn Labor Day weekend and absolutely fell in love with the property! The Parker House Inn is one of those pieces of surprise chocolates Forrest Gump always talked about. The property sits right in the middle of the most pleasant little town in Georgia, McRae. There are 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A big dining room, circular porch, big yard and beautiful kitchen. Our stay there put the final stamp of approval on the most wonderful weekend I've had in a long time with my family. The owner is so pleasant and easy going. I promise you, you will be doing yourself a great disservice if you pass up the opportunity to stay here should it ever be a choice. I give the Parker House Inn 5 stars but wish I could give it 100!

I stayed here while in town for a friend's family. The rooms were clean and comfortable however this still an old house. The rooms are air-conditioned but the hallways and kitchen are not. The antique decor wasn't exactly my style but at $65 I can't complain too much. We had the rehearsal supper here and the owner let us kind of take over the for the two days we were there. If I ever had to spend a night in McRae again, I would come back.

My sister and I stayed here wile visiting our sister that is in the nursing home. We enjoyed our stay so much. The home was built in 1901 and it is just lovely with all the antiques. There is a full kitchen in this home where you can cook if you want to. The kitchen is shared with all the guest. The rooms are clean and the beds are wonderful. My sister and I plan on staying here on our next visit. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.||||Linda and Gay
