Paradise Stream Resort

Let me start off with the fact that this was a first visit to paradise stream resort but we have stayed at Cove Haven resort, albeit years ago (2011). My husband and I stayed at Paradise Stream Resort this past week Mon-Wed) and it was anything but Paradise! Upon check in at 3:15pm (we were 15 min early) we were told we needed to wait for our room, it wasn't ready yet. Ok we're early so we got that! But, what we didnt appreciate was the fact the desk staffs attitude or their talking nasty about other guests that had just walked away and the fact that we didn't actually get a room until around 5 pm. We had a Garden of Eden room, #316. This room came with a whirlpool tub, fireplace and pool inside it. When entering the room you are smacked in the face with the smell of mold. We asked for

My wife and I are longtime loyal guests and Forever Lovers members who have celebrated our anniversary at your resorts for many years, including the Palace before it was sold and Cove Haven. Since the sale of the Palace, this was our third stay at Paradise Stream.||At check in, we were placed in an Apple room without a phone and told the phone lines were down. Although we were comfortable and appreciated the private in room pool, we agreed to move to another Apple room due to the lack of communication access.||On December 24, 2025, while staying in the second Apple room with a private pool, I placed my red Nautica swim shorts, an anniversary gift from my wife, on the pool railing to dry before dinner. It's a beautiful little adult's resort. Almost everything you need is on property. The rooms aren't perfect, but what can you really expect when there's a hot tub in the middle of the room. Good wifi, two TVs in the room, a personal mini pool and sauna as well. Our breakfast was included and was a nice little fresh buffet with fresh omelet and egg options included. Both our servers were super chill and the tall blonde girl was funny. The gift shop could use a little more food and drink selections but other than that it was great. The woman working there was super friendly and incredibly helpful. Everyone working on property were great, but she was the best. We loved the little game room and it's open 24 hours too. There were no issues at all during our stay.

Hotel was nice and there weren't too many people on site. We’re not the extra romantic couple, so this was a little extra for us, but we were able to spoil ourselves and relax. Breakfast was like a normal hotel complimentary breakfast buffet, but Justin served us both days and he was excellent. Spooners had many events and things to do. The bed was comfortable, however, don’t sit on the edge because you will fall, and it was sunken in the middle, so that made it a little hard to sleep in a comfortable position. Overall, great stay, great resort, and down the street from Mt. Airy Casino which was fun as well.

Paradise Stream is a great couples resort for some nice time to just get away and relax with your spouse. Location is great not to far off the beaten path yet secluded especially the champagne tower suites. Service is fantastic and top notch. Donna at the front desk is fabulous and such warm smile as soon as you get there. Dining staff is fantastic especially Justin. He goes out of his way to make sure everything is good for you. Bartenders are great as well. Maintenence staff and most of the staff are super friendly. Lisa is a great manager and makes sure things run smoothly. The rooms are dated and upgrades can definitely be used, but the room was very clean and the lighting above the bed and champagne tubs all worked making a great ambience.
