Pappy Hoel Campground & Resort

Still needs to be finished setting up. Park in the non motorcycle area and you get to walk past the swamp and the bowels of the back area to get up front. Unique venue for sure, not sure if/when the new location of the FTS will grow into the hype as the old one was. Still got a drink, listen to band, bought some apparel, and run from the mosquitoes…

We tented a couple nights during the rally. Staff was helpful and friendly. Showers and bathrooms decent, always seem to have someone taking care of things. Breakfast buffet hit the spot before heading out for the day. Jessie was quick to thank us for staying. Oh and NEVER miss a Jackyl show!!!

Website makes it seem like you can just find a tent spot, but were led to a spot. Due to having no rules on generator hours can not sleep. ||You will notice that Pappy Hoel is not on the list of top camp sites. I now understand why. Choose Creekside instead.

This is where Full Throttle Saloon is located and where the HD Pan America off road demos are taking place. The concerts are free if you paid to camp there. Big acts too. Hank Williams JR and Tesla, just to name a few. Google the venue.

We stayed here for 2 weeks during the rally with our RV. Full hook up, but they have all levels of camping. Shower houses available. Walking distance to FTS with nightly shows. We rode alot. Took backroads to get around Sturgis traffic. Not sure how this would be in the "off season" but it's beautiful country.
