Panamint Springs Resort

I am back home in Texas but still thinking about this resort and it’s wonderful staff! we stayed three nights (1 night in the glamping tent & 2 nights in a cabin room) when you’re driving for hours and exhausted from the travel and heat, a little kindness goes a long way & that is just what their staff provided for us! they answered and helped with any question or request we had even the ‘dumb’ ones! we switched our lodging during our stay and it was a seamless transition. the restaurant and gas station was such a nice relieve to have in case we forgot or needed anything. anyone complaining about the noise obviously hasn’t stayed in a campground before and any noise was mainly in the morning while everyone is heading out for their day. go here for the peaceful nights & isolation. we drove

I’ve stayed here four or five times over the last seven years. I like the cabins. They’re very simple, just a bed, nightstand, and bathroom. It’s very clean. The views and the staff are excellent. The restaurant across the street has good hours and reasonably priced food, considering that you are in a remote desert. The view of the stars is absolutely unbeatable. It is on the west side of the park, so keep this in mind as a lot of the attractions are on the east and the drive is over an hour there, however, the drive is beautiful. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. If you were here to enjoy the park, not spend a lot of time in your room like beautiful views and proximity to a good restaurant, this is the best place to stay. It was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. I saw 3 cockroaches in the room. They come through the sink drain and door gap. I ended up sleeping in the car.

I stayed with my Doberman in one of the cabins in mid-January of 2026. We enjoyed the experience being out in the middle of the desert. The cabin itself was comfortable and clean, nice shower, and the heater worked well! Although you can hear every noise your neighbor makes, it was a great place to stay! Convenience store and restaurant across the street! I'm looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Great place to stay a couple of nights when visiting Death Valley. There is a water hookup at the rv sites. Showers and toilets available on the site which is a big plus. Could use some redecoration maybe, but still way better than no facilities at all. Would recommend.
