Palmetto Cove Inc RV Park

Our Tiffin group had a rally here a couple of years ago and couldn't wait to come back. The camp is an older Airstream Park, run by volunteers who give it their all to make this a place to come back to again and again. Few amenities, but lots of smiling faces, a creek out back, and rocking chairs on the large patio overlooking the mountains can't be beat. Lots of things to do in the area including mountain drives, waterfalls, and the cute town of Traveler's Rest about 12 miles down the road. We camped at Palmetto Cove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wasn't sure about this place as it was described as parking in a field with full hookups but turned out to be an awesome campground. People were so friendly, kids playing every day, the amenity pavilion has fire pit w wood, tables, corn hole and other games, free bikes to ride, and the best was the creek behind it. Kids had a blast playing in the creek and riding tubes down. Yes, no picnic table, fire pits at campsites, concrete pads, or a bathhouse with showers... but if you know this going in, the price is very sweet. And the views of the surrounding state parks were great! Easy to access too. Wifi and water pressure were better than any other campground.

What a great place to stay!! Great people, great views, fun weekly activities, trails and access to the water, safe, clean, and well maintained! I have to admit my favorite part of staying here is the road coming in!! A sweet spot, nestled just under the Smoky Mountains with short access to other states and attractions!

This is a great place to camp! Very convenient for a quick getaway, beautiful setting with a nice view of Table Rock area. Sites have full hookups and the grounds are well maintained. The staff is great and as we found out this past weekend, will literally drop everything to come help you in time of need! Our awning was stuck out a few feet after a power failure and Richard and Trey were there right away. They persisted til they were able to fully retract the awning so we could at least tow our camper home. I can't thank them enough for their kindness in helping us. Definitely recommend this campground!

Another great experience at this awesome campground. The Hosts are like no where else, these guys are great!!! Enjoyed our daily talks, etc.. great people! The campground is in an amazing area, so many things to do and see.. hiking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, etc.. This was our 2nd yearly fall visit at the campground, we are already planning for next year and staying much longer! We love it here. See you all soon!
