Great host. A young man who works there went beyond his duty and provided excellent services. He met us after hours and showed us the camping site and answered all our questions. There are plenty of large RV sites with electric and water.
Beautiful park and VERY well kept!! The caretaker works very hard and it shows. Nobody can help Mother Nature. It goes without saying with being outside but obviously you should be aware certain times of year for flood water and bugs. I mean, that does happen in this area and mosquitoes will be there.
Brought my own fire pit an had a blast all laber day weekend ,an it was affordable to camp there at the campground, while the Rodeo was there.
It is a nice small town park.. Usually well kept.. It would get 5*.. but people should be aware that certain times of the year it does have flooding issues.. And being so close to the river and several creeks.. bugs like mosquitoes and other biting insects can be an issue.. just remember to bring insect repellent.
Good for a Labor Day Rodeo, fireworks the day after Thanksgiving and lights in the park through Christmas.
