I am glad to be the first reviewer for the Palace Hotel. I wish we could have arrived earlier in the evening so we could have spoken with the owner. It is a very cool old hotel, and as a history and old house/DIY enthusiast, I would have loved to learn more about it and his plans for the property. Currently it’s more of a hostel style with a shared bathroom. Our room was spacious with super high ceilings and clean. The bathroom, while small, was clean. The listing is accurate / what you see is what you get. It’s located in a very small town in the middle of Montana and some people might be worried about that, but my adult daughter and I felt totally safe staying here. There are train tracks right across the street, so if you are a light sleeper, I’d bring earplugs. The trains woke me up t
