Pahokee City Park

It's ashamed that this beautiful place to go and be with friends and family you can't really fish. Fishing is not allowed 🚫 on the EMPTY DOCKS.. There are no boats really there docked. Looks primarily abandoned. They should alow people to fish 🐟 on the areas were there are no boats docked. (Which is mostly the whole area) there's probably the most, 4 vessels there. Everytime i go there it looks the same. Just an idea, with a little bait shop there and Fishing 🎣 allowed, you might start making money 💰 there and you are able to maintain that area.

Bizarre is too soft of a word to describe Pahokee park... a local warned us to leave, though the marina showed no sign of being closed. The water looked brown and murky, and the multipurpose trail was closed... we saw several sheriffs, ambulance, and fire trucks go into the park with no sirens, though we saw no scene whatsoever... I fear that the pollution of the river has begun to do some serious damage that we haven’t heard about yet... There was a Waste Management boat in the marina too... I’ve never seen a WM BOAT in my life... so creepy.

Enjoyed our stay in April, although the tiki bar or lounge was not open, not sure of the open seasons. Alligators were good, no attacks, just growlers. Fishing was awesome. People were friendly. R&TY J&KP

Great staff and location! The Marina is beautiful, staff is great!!! There are a few stores within walking distance. It is definitely a hidden gem!

A very nice but "unused" marina located on Lake Okeechobee. There is a welcome center there but it was closed upon our arrival.
