It was clean and serene. We enjoyed sitting on the swings watching the river and all of the glorious pieces of trash as it glided downstream. No but seriously, the campground was nice and kept up. The grass was cut and it was a peaceful time.
What a beautiful park! The Ohio Riverview, the grassy well maintained sites and the friendly and helpful caretakers (shout out to Scot) made our stay very enjoyable. Consider adding a phone contact and updating the website so more people could find you more easily.
Nice to go fishing aswell
Fix the cameras and increase patrol in cars and on foot if anyway possible. There are some shady people lurking around alone at night when the park should be closed. 2 year old cameras need fixed and to be public view.
Quiet little camping spot. 50 amp elec.and water, dump station nearby. river access for a boat. $40 a night.
