P & L Denio Junction RV Park

We stayed one night and it was very peaceful and quiet. It’s a bit rough looking and at first we wondered if it’d be safe. The owner, Larry, met us and was very nice! All the hookups worked and the water was really good. It ended up being very safe and we had an awesome night. It’s not the Taj Mahal but it worked.

Don’t listen to the “Laurie’s” of the world in these reviews. First off, you have to realize where you are here. If you expected some posh RV resort in Denio Jct, you should absolutely move on. Having said that, this park was great for the experience! Pulled in without reservations and of course was met immediately by Larry and hooked us up with an easy pull through so we didn’t have to disconnect the tow. All hook ups worked great, water was great (and tasted awesome!) and Wi-Fi is included (40 per night). No issues with security and the few locals staying long term were great. Worth it to stay here just to hang out at the junction across the street, awesome place owners and bar tender! My only qualm is the location (only slightly) is off on google maps. The owner was very friendly, nice guy. However, just the appearance would have driven us elsewhere if we weren't so tired and no other park close by. Trash everywhere except behind us, toward the road. Wifi was non existent, there wasn't any cable and our antenna didn't pick up a station. Stickers everywhere that stuck to your shoes and our dogs paws. Painful for sure. Has the potential to be something, but for now, over priced. We paid less for much more and will plan better in the future.

3.5 stars. Stayed a night as it is the only place around for 1.5 hours from Lakeview, OR to Winnemucca, NV with directions. Easy to check-in and hookup. Super fair price. Did not use the wi-fi, as there is a Verizon 4G signal. Sites are close and fairly flat. Location is in the middle of nothing going on. A bar across the street with some items, a restaurant, and gas.

Great and quaint little RV Park. Owners are some if the nicest people I've met. Full hook-ups and great rates. One owner also works at the restaurant across the highway that is the nicest and one of the best cooks I know. Just ask...she can make anything (as long as they have the ingredients-middle of nowhere). Will stay here again on one of our through trip vacations.
