OYO Travelier Motel

Absolutely disgusting! We ended up here because every other hotel in town was sold out. Should’ve known better when we pulled up and saw how run down the building was but we needed a room for the night. First off, I could not get a straight answer as to how much the room price was, the price changed multiple times while booking the room. I got the room, room number 24 in the corner of the building. When my husband and I walked in the room, we were hit by a horrible mold, smoke, dirt smell. The room was disgusting! Blood stains on the sides of the mattress, holes and burn marks on the sheets. Dirt and dust everywhere. I instantly took our luggage back to the car while my husband was deciding what we should do (no other rooms available in town due to it being opening weekend for hunting). Made reservations to stay here got here at midnight like we told them on the phone however when we got here no one answered the door to the office or phone! Quick to take our money for the reservation however 24 hours later after not being able to use them due to their failure to answer when we arrived still have not received a refund of our reservation! So today hear back from this hotel and they refuse to refund the money for their lack of service!!! Traveler beware this place will absolutely steal from you!

The guy at the front desk was really nice, but to be honest I will never ever stay here ever again. I have a cat and wanted a non smoking pet friendly room, he didn't have any non smoking pet friendly rooms open so I asked if he had any pet friendly rooms in the smoking rooms and he had one, so I told him I'd take it for the week. It was 529 and some change for a week ... I open the door and get hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and mold, the room wasn't clean, I had to scrub down the shower and sink and toilet, the toilet was leaking, the shower head needed to be rescrewed on to stop it from leaking, I asked to borrow the vaccum so I could vacuum the floor, and the worst part of it all was there were German cockroaches everywhere!! I stay here yearly as I make my annual trip from Mobile Al. To Omaha Ne., love it!, it is old but very well maintained and extremly clean, rooms aren't big, but you park at your door, and it is quiet, plenty of places to eat that are close, there are no frills, never had their breakfast, but I would not expect much more than rolls and juice, I love the place.

Thank you to the staff of this hotel. My dad passed away suddenly and I needed a safe and clean place to stay while I made arrangements. The room was spacious and clean and very affordable for a 2 week stay. If I had a question or needed anything they were there to help out quickly and always with a smile. I needed that with all that was going on. Thank you for make a difficult time much easier.
