OYO Hotel Richburg SC I-77

I had a stay booked here for December 5th. Checked in and back out within 20 minutes after finding the mattress crawling with bed bugs. Booked through expedia and they have been unable to get ahold of the hotel to process any refund for the stay. Do NOT stay here. It is filthy and the staff does not care. The front desk girl was entirely unsurprised when we wanted to check back out for bugs.

Positive: The young man that checked us in was super nice and very professional! Negative: It very much appeared that most of the hotel was rented to long-term occupants, and it was very evident that drug use was prevalent (pot smell overtook you upon exiting your vehicle, and was worse in/near the rooms! Did not feel very safe at all.

By far the best hotel in Richburg SC, right off the highway and next to a QT so you are able to fill up before you hit the road again. Would highly recommend my wife called around Richardson and they have the best rates by far. Management is top notch and very respectful and the blond haired woman that greeted us at the front desk was very helpful and assisted us with all our needs. 🦍🐺🐉🦉

This room was dirty, hole in wall by door. Microwave was discusting. Hair in sink n tub, the carpet was DIRTY and the bed linens had cigarette burns in it. It was a horrible experience.

Roaches. In the bed. The 5 star reviews are fake. No smoke detectors, the place was falling apart and disgusting, and there were SO MANY roaches. I was laying down to sleep when I felt something scurrying in the blankets. I turned on the light, saw the roaches in the bed with me, and noped out of there. The guy at the front counter was nice enough. He did what he could to be helpful when I first checked in and complained about the cigarette smell, but there wasn't anything he could do about that many roaches inhabiting the place. This was the only time I've ever checked out of a hotel without staying a night. I moved to the Baymont down the road. I booked this hotel because it had a half-price promotion going. It was not worth it.
