OYO Hotel Harriman near I-40

The ratings on hotels.com were completely false. This property was the worst hotel in terms of cleanliness, convenience, and amenities that we have ever been in. We considered leaving and canceling the room but didn't have another immediate option and didn't want to deal with the front desk staff again. We weren't actually sure where we should check in. I have several pictures that show property neglect, possibly unsafe and definitely unsanitary conditions. The check in staff was dour and it seemed we were interrupting their nap. The coverlets on the beds had bleach stains and cigarette burn holes in them. There was only a sheet and thin coverlet rather than any blankets. There was no elevator and no luggage cart. Tv freezes constantly....told office several times....nothing changes. Seen a bug man come spray exactly twice and they have roaches. I sprayed my room as much as possible. The smell of WEED is horrible!!!! Most of the linens are stained and/or have burn marks. No stoppers in any drains...no smoke detectors in rooms. They say they offer breakfast....but they have been out of milk...out of syrup...out of oatmeal...they only offer cereal or waffles to start with. Door keys never work properly....and to top that off....some of the tenants also work there and all have access to rooms. Now ...they have put out flyers that the rates are going up. The rooms are not affordable now...and are definitely not worth 1550 a month for ground floor and 1450 for 2nd and 3rd floors. So..if ask

Been here three weeks love the place really like Jimmy very friendly. Can’t understand him sometimes a lot of people think he’s rude, but he’s not. That’s just the way he is you just got to understand him thank the world, his brother and his Wife always friendly they see me they always holler at me and wave always speak to me and when I do take a shower I put the towels and dirty rags and stuff in a bag set it outside my door and then whenever I come back there’s clean ones in a bag hanging on my door. They do change my bed not every day every other day no matter fact, I’m still here going on a month and if I could, I’d stay here year-round that’s just how much I like it here. I’ve never slept so well nowhere like I sleep here sometimes there’s noise but once I go to sleep, I don’t wake up

Positive: Room was clean. Negative: I arrived and couldn?t find the office but I found out that check in was at the hotel next door. Thankfully the hospitality was there to help guide me. Was not a big deal but they should put a sign to direct to the office

I recently stayed at the OYO for 2 nights. I thought I struck gold on how cheap the room was and quiet it was until I woke up to itching all over my body due to BEDBUGS!!!I noticed the Mattress was zipped up in some kind of cover letting me know I couldn’t have been the first victim. I tried to get a refund but the Indian clerk guy yelled at me and demanded respect. How rude I thought! So please beware of this hotel BEDBUGS are on the premises save yourself and go elsewhere not the OYO. Pictures to prove it
