Stopped here one night on the way home and had a walk in spot by the water. Not too many bugs, nice playground and such a pretty place to stop after a long drive. One recommendation: Bring a picnic table, some of the walk up sites are not so great regarding the table and windbreakers. Still can be used for storing stuff off the ground but a little worn for sitting comfortably.
Love camping and day trips to cedar!!
