Ouachita Mountain Inn

Nice clean room. Microwave, no coffee maker, Satellite TV. Great price. Grocery store nearby, Great little panaderia nearby Mexican bakery. McDonald's is close by in the Circle K.

When we arrived we noticed that the building is quite dated and could definitely use some work but we all know that takes money which takes business and this area , is not a highly visited area. This was the reason for a 4 not a 5 stars. The owners ( or the couple that runs it) were so very nice and sweet to us that we were so happy that we did stay there. The room was clean and every morning we had fresh towels, garbage emptied, TP restocked, they were great. There is a great Mexican/American restaurant you can walk to next door! ( It is a dry county) We recommend you stay there when visiting this beautiful area.

Booking.com listed King room as pet friendly but i was informed that was inaccurate. They offered double room for same price. It was late & drove 11 hours, so i took it. They did not offer to fix the listing.

This establishment is always good to their customers, well my husband and I anyway. The room is comfortable, clean, and stocked well. The owners are great. We had left something in the room, and the gentleman phoned us right away. We were at a restaurant in town and went back right away to the hotel. The gentleman had us identify the items and had us show him our ID and bring up something he could have us prove to him that the item was definitely ours. He was making sure he wasn't releasing the item to the wrong couple. I/we really appreciate how he handled the left item. Have a great day.
