Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area Campground

Stayed on weekdays so the park was very quiet. The park has been neglected over the years, but they are working to upgrade a lot of things. That was very nice to see. Camp host was very accommodating, friendly and nice. Park has all the amenities we needed to have a very nice stay. It’s off the beaten path just far enough to experience nature, but not too far from anything you would like to go see. If I’m ever in the area I would stay here again. Would love to see all the upgrades they have in store.

The campground wasn't crowded so there was plenty of room. nice little playground with swings. The only reason for the lower rating is the bathrooms in D loop. They are some of the worst we've seen and we've seen a lot of campground bathrooms. It was pretty quiet except for the host driving around on his golf cart on day one with his music blaring for about an hour. The last night there were some loud campers until about 11:30. The little town of Brandenburg was a refreshing taste of the area, as well.

We went there camping and had a good time. The camp sites are really nice and plenty of trees. The showers are in good shape and for the section we were at, there were two close by. The only minor complaint would be that some of the individual camp sites could be marked a little better. We also went to Bernheim Forest which was about 30 minutes away and I recommend that also if you get a chance.

Nice camping sites at an amazing price. Every one I saw had its own fire pit. They just added a new pavilion and a badminton/volleyball net in the D area. Only complaint is the bathrooms in D need work. The mens only had 1 shower with hot water, and both had very little water pressure. Other than that great place.

Otter Creek camp ground has clean facilities bathrooms showers, was still early in the year so clean up of branches and maintenance is still going on. Have horse camp sites, primitive, water of full hook ups. Easy access. Lots need to be marked better!
