Utilities, for my site are 50 feet away. Ignorant response!!! I have visited state parks, army Corp of engineer parks. Commercial parks in nearly every state in the USA. This poorly designed park is the first I have visited that the utilities were out of reach of Mt 5th. The water for the sites is piped via galvanized pipes. Galvanized pipes are known to leech lead into the water. The county should close the disgrace and replace the management.

Had a really nice time at the Oscoda County Park Campground over Labor Day weekend. Highly recommend to come and relax at this place. Also had a Great Manager who knows how to get things done for those who stay as a camper or visit for the day use. Keep up the great work.

This campground is a gem. Let's start with the camp itself. Lots are very spacious and are beautifully maintained and groomed. Bath house is clean and bright. Plenty of pit toilets throughout camp as well. There is a dump station on site with potable water. Each site has a fire ring. This park is so conveniently located right in town but feels like we are in the middle of the forest. Supplies are at our doorstep! We are getting spoiled here. Currently there are no l

I visited Oscoda County Park with friends in their RV. It just so happened it was trick or treat night. Costumes and decorations for Halloween were everywhere. The park was clean and well maintained. My friends enjoy camping here often and it’s fun to visit! Happy Halloween

Some bathrooms were out of TP. Inconvenient. In Rustic west across from site 207 the resident owls will taunt you all night. They are just curious! Take a walk on the trail from the backside of the west rustic sites keep walking past the steps leading down to the lake, about 100 yards or so and a trail will lead down to the water front. There you will find this awesome rope swing!
