Osage Park Recreation Area

Great place to hang out. It is a paid parking day use, 5$ for a regular vehicle. Not sure about pricing for others. They have signage and QR codes near the boat ramp at the end of the road.

Would definitely recommend wearing swimming shoes due to the rocks in the beach area and on the floor of the lake. The sand isn't easily played with like at some other lakes but the water is nice and parking is free. Lots of people bring their own canopy tents, tables and even grills. It's a great place for a family gathering, picnics, family fun or even just 1 or two adults to go enjoy the sun and water.

We always swim here and use this ramp if its not super busy. Its a popular swimming area. Good place for kids to swim if you do not have a boat for some lake fun.

You can scan QR code and pay for the usage online. ($5 at the time we visited in September 2023) well kept for boat docking, pier, and mini beach picnic areas.

It was pretty nice. The swimming area was a bit muddy from all the boats coming into the cove and waking pretty hard. There are restrooms and plenty of parking. The cove is a great place to Kayak. There looks to be good fishing further back around the trees.
