This was the nicest camping and they've thought of everything. Terrific and very clean outdoor shower with ample hot water, a double stainless sink for doing your dishes - we'll definitely stay again if we're in the area. Lisa and Glen and the best hosts around!
We recently had our second stay at the Oostema Farmstead in the apartment. I always know, when we are fortunate enough to be able to book the apartment, we will have a wonderful stay. It is warm and inviting and has a dreamy bed, linens, and pillows. Lisa and Glen are the absolute best hosts and make themselves available for any needs, including opening their store for goodies if requested. We came home with a number of yummy offerings from the store and can't wait to go back again and get even more. We will always check with the Oostema' s first when needing a place to stay in the Lynden area.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Oostema Farmstead! The little farmstead is cozy and has everything a couple needs/want for their stay. The farmstead is in a perfect location to make a day trip to Vancouver Canada, San Juan Islands, visit the local sights in Bellingham and with delicous eats nearby. The owners are lovely and we look forward to staying here again😁
What a lovely way to spend a (mostly rainy) 3-night stay! Lisa and Glen made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed hanging out with the chickens and cows. Also, don’t forget to check out the store! We bought some colorful, fresh eggs and a super-tender Wagyu ribeye steak. (Lisa? Thank you for the cooking instructions. The steak came out perfectly and was delicious!) Thank you for sharing your farm with us!
What a perfect place to stay and escape the hustle and bustle of life….. access was easy with our fifth wheel too. The gardens and sites were beautifully maintained, with lovely views all around. Close to the gorgeous old town of Lynden (within cycling distance) Lisa and Glen were very welcoming…. I’d highly recommend a stay here 🤩
