I will start with, out of all the reviews I have submitted, this is only the 2nd negative one I’ve posted. I’m giving this review strictly on the actions of the lady at check in and how unpleasant she was. 1st off..Upon arrival, I went in the office with my 8lb Cavapoo puppy in my arms. Three steps in the door and she says in a stern voice (NO DOGS ALOUD)!! I turned to my husband, handed him our little girl, he took her out. I turned and said ( She is our baby,,we don’t consider her a dog lol) she again said well NO DOGS ALLOWED!! I don’t have a problem with the no dog policy but, a “no dog sign” on the front door could have prevented her attitude (maybe) then she tells me “no rugs on the ground” I said, you mean, no even a door mat at steps to prevent dragging dirt in our camper?” She sai

NEVER COME HERE!!! I have never encountered such an unprofessional attitude in my entire life. The woman running the front desk (the owner) was the most unlikable person I’ve ever met. She was blatantly racist, rude, and downright awful. I came in with a group of people who do not speak English very well. We had multiple people helping to translate, but the owner was so unkind about the language barrier. I’ve genuinely never seen anyone treat others with such hostility. I will never come here again, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The campsite itself is pathetic—boring, unsafe, and a total waste of money. The docks are wobbly and dangerous, there’s absolutely nothing to do, and the only reason we stayed was because they refuse to give refunds. That alone should tel

We have camped at this KOA many times over the last three years. This will be our last trip there. The female manager is extremely rude every time we stay. We are a quiet couple in our 60’s and pretty much keep to ourselves. Just today as we were preparing to leave, I took my 10 pound Yorkie for a walk. We had to walk through mud because of course they haven’t put gravel down. The topper is the female manager marching out of her office to tell me not to let my little dog urinate on her metal building. Really? How is that going to hurt her building? She complains about where we place our outdoor trash can and the list goes on. She’s unpleasant to everyone at the campground on a consistent basis. There is no, “Thank you for staying here.” I think she’s annoyed with her guests. I would recom

We took a family trip from Chicago, Illinois, to visit our family in Nebraska for the weekend to celebrate Labor Day. They wanted us to know this place, which was important to them. However, the treatment we received was very unpleasant. They never treated us with kindness. The brochure they gave us said we were entitled to water and electricity, but that wasn't the case. It was truly a bittersweet experience, and the treatment we received was very strange. All I can say is that if you have a business that involves dealing with different types of people, regardless of where they're from, you have to be kind, even if it's not what you want to experience in your business. Respect is the most important thing; being kind is better for everyone. We couldn't last long because of the discomfort o

This was one of our stops on our journey to South Dakota from Delaware, this Koa park was clean, well kept, we arrived late had some difficulty finding our site but the people here were so helpful and friendly getting us into our site, it made it all worth while. The lake is campground is on is beautiful heard and seen many fish jumping, we did fish here but to no avail. Felt very safe here too.
