Im a little late posting this review, but I definitely didn't want to leave this little jewel out. This trip in particular would make our 2nd summer coming out here and both trips have been absolutely the best! The first year we brought our pop up camper and the camping spots couldn't be easier to navigate, and complete with water and electric hook up. Great "private" fishing with plenty of room to cast a line, and there's a few pretty awesome deep holes to swim in as well. Lonely? If you happen to be solo, your time doesn't have to be spent alone because the property owner has plenty of super friendly Ausy Shepards all with individual personalities, and with a leftover pizza crust or two from the on premises store they will adopt you until you check out, and no worries, they are mostly al

First trip to Ole Henry's. Been camping over most the country and this is one of the cutest campgrounds. Host Vickie was great and welcoming. Had several people that were also helpful. Very nice general store that had a kitchen. Pizza and sandwiches. Our pizza was $16 and was delicious. And they delivered it to us in their golf cart. The store had a patio with about a dozen tables. I assume they get a good restaurant crowd. On our trip, the site was pretty empty bc of the heat. Our dog was able to run around and enjoy himself off the leash (I'm sure this would be different if there were more campers). Nice little creek where we could swim, and the dog could swim too. We don't have young kids but there is a playground and other things for the kids to do. Had plenty of room.

This is our favorite campground, besides Watoga. It is dog friendly and my dog loves it here. She plays with the other dogs that live on site. The swimming hole is great! The owner, Vickie, is great too. Don't forget to order a pizza while you're there. They are delicious.
