Old Stage Campground

I don't usually stay at commercial campgrounds but a family emergency led me to spend 9 nights here and I left impressed with the level of service and the convenience of the location to Durham/Dover area. Being here over the labor day weekend I could feel the positive vibes. During the first week of school it was very quiet. I was glad to have a relatively quiet spot. All facilities were kept clean and operational. I would recommend this location without hesitation.

We had a great time, they have a lot of activities for children. Bathrooms were clean and our site had easy access. Pool was very clean and not crowded. We definitely will be back. The guys that walk around at quiet hours sneak up and can startle dogs which was odd, maybe a golf cart or something would give a little notice. Overall very nice place

Really fun camp ground lots of activities for all. Guest fee is a little mulch if your only visiting for a couple hours

We can’t say enough about how absolutely wonderful this campground is. This is a family owned operation and everything about it is outstanding. It is peaceful, clean, wonderful amenities. The staff couldn’t be nicer. I wish that I could give this 10 stars. Our site was Wide and comfortable full hook ups wonderful cable, great cell service and Wi-Fi. We arrived slightly early and they were wonderful about accommodating us. We had some difficulties setting up our cable. The owner came over with his TV. Checking to make sure it was all working and assisted us. The bathrooms are spacious and clean Our stay was for four days and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. We cannot wait to come back again. Nikki and Gerry Chagnon . ?

I’d like to say one thing about this camp ground it’s the best camp ground I have ever stayed at the owners are very nice and I will recommend this to any of my family and friends.. I stayed here and had the best time with my girlfriend and kids 5 star and more … thank you very much look forward to staying again
