Old Montana Inn

Stayed for just over a week on a work trip. My room was recently completely remodeled and had a comfortable bed. Room was way better than expected. There is a grocery store next door, a laundromat across the street, a coffee shop around the corner, and a bar/grill across the street. It's also within walking distance to everything on the main strip of Deer Lodge. If I ever find myself in the area again, I'll be staying here.

I called there earlier today. I got a young girl who was very rude! For one answered the phone saying yeah.. like I was the problem then when I asked if this was old montana in she said yeah again. I asked if there was rooms available she said my mom is not here right now.. then hung up on me. |Then I get a call back from the im guessing mother and I told her how rude the young girl was and I went somewhere else. She just said okay. No im sorry for her being rude! I will never ever take any of my business there! Some very rude people!!

We were coming up from Utah, through Montana heading to Idaho hauling a large load with a lowboy truck. I figured we would be running out of drive time around 7pm, and according to the maps that conveniently put us in Deer Lodge, MT. Searching for amenities and a place to stay right off the interstate where we didn't have to turn around a 76' load, I found The Old Montana Inn on Google. Around 1pm I called the front desk and asked if they had availability and a spot to park our over sized load. The lady we spoke to was so nice and said she had rooms available and explained the parking situation. I didn't pay for a room or even ask her to reserve us one. I just said we would be coming through around 7pm. I didn't want to reserve it in case something happened and we didn't make it that far.

Had a great time staying here on our way through town. Clean and cozy, with easy check-in and check out. Located close to the Kaffeine Station for an excellent breakfast.

My rating is based on the value. This hotel was low cost but unlike others at the same price point, it was clean and comfortable. The room had recently been redone and painted. The floors were new and shiny.
