Old Massanutten Lodge

The lodge is absolutely beautiful and has so many options for sleeping and sitting areas . There's more than enough for dinning formal or casually. Multiple fireplaces , bed with bathrooms combined. It's grand , yet warm and cozy . The owners are so lovely and offer a van Uber service as well. Their kitchen is large chef size with everything you need . It's definitely a 5 star 🌟 resort .we stayed for a wedding Friday til Monday and everyone had plenty of their own space if they wanted or the great room to gather together which was wonderful since it was also a family reunion . We were truly blessed to find this gem. Cindy and perry , the owner s, are so gracious .

My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely overnight stay in the Ruby Hummer Room at the Old Massanutten Lodge and are so thankful to have found such a peaceful and relaxing bed & breakfast after a busy day touring with crowds. Margie and her family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The very clean and well-maintained lodge is tucked away at the end of a quiet road and is surrounded by gardens, lawn and woods. The Great Room is large and comfy with a stone fireplace and lots of seating. Since it was a warm night, we enjoyed relaxing outside on the big front porch listening to the country sounds as the sun set. I am so sorry this took so long to write- My Husband and I stayed at this beautiful B and B when my daughter graduated from James Madison University . Margie (our Host) could not have been more welcoming and her breakfasts were amazing. The place itself was warm romantic and inviting. My only regret is that I did not discover this hidden gem until my daughter's graduation. I surely would have stayed there every time I visited her over the 4 years of college! After this Covid nightmare is over do yourself a favor and stay here!

Great place for family vacation together. Near lots of different attractions

we stayed here for two nights. it is in a great location. the house is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. it is in a fantastic location. it is only about 10 minutes from harrisonburg but you feel that you are in the middle of nowhere since there are cow farms/horse farms all around. it is only 2.5 miles away from Western slopes where i did some great hiking (it also offers wonderful mountain biking but i am not a mountain biker).
